Her current collaboration with Dell Hamilton examines the trial of three enslaved African Americans who resisted captivity under Captain John Codman. This collaboration takes the form of a three-channel video installation, a format chosen for its ability to integrate archival documents, rehearsals, and scripted performance. This project highlights the important contributions of Black lives in the founding of the United States, focusing on resilience and kinship during the colonial era.
